Peter and I had a wonderful time on this cruise. We were on the ship for 7 days and in those 7days there was so much to do and see that we only saw and did half of it. We boarded the ship at Fort Lauderdale on the 4th. at 1pm. our state room had an outside balcony. We watched the sun rise in the morning and set in the evening, it sure was beautiful.
Our first stop was St. Maarten, we took a bus ride around the Island through the French and Dutch country sides. we stopped and did some shopping in the outdoor markets, then the bus took us back to the ship in time for supper. There was food a plenty and oh so good. We had the same dining room table for supper each night with the same 4 people there was 6 of us counting pete and myself and the same waiters, for Breakfast and lunch and afternoon tea we ate where ever we wanted to so we met a lot of really nice people. Our next stop was St. Thomas, in the US. Virgin Islands. We boared the bus at the dock for a 3 hour tour of the Island with a stop for lunch. At the highest point of the Island, we could look out over the harbour below. Our 3rd. and final stop was Princess Cay's, in the Bahamas, where the ship anchored out in the bay and ferried us to shore in the life boats. We walked on the white sand beaches where the sand was so soft your feet just sank in, it made it hard to walk. We got back to the ship in time for afternoon tea.
We arrived back at Fort Lauderdale on the morning of Febuary11th. and disembarked and boarded the bus to the airport to start the journey home.
